AMY WINEHOUSE - Back to Black

Ok I know i'm like 4 months late on this. Maybe even years. But Alot of you are 5 years later than me, so for you guys i wanted to let you know to GET THIS ALBUM!! I have heard it before and i said it was great, but it wasnt until the other week when i read an article on her and i went back to listen to it in depth. This time ipod headphones in ears, no distractions.............WOW!! I think this album is my R&B album of the year, unless Jill Scott or Mary or Robin Thicke drop an album this year, and i dont think thats going to happen!! Last year it was Robin Thicke, this year its Amy.

Her lyrics alot of people can relate too. From songs bout not wanting to goto Rehab because her father "doesnt think she needs to go", to a song about a dude smoking up her weed, to a song about a guy that hated on her seeing a Nas Concert (Me and Mr Jones). Thats if your the type that likes to be real with yourself, fake people probably wouldnt relate.....hahaha.

Even though most of the album is looped over classic 50's and 60's motown and do-wop joints, i actually prefer to listen to music with soul and a real band and take a break from synthesizers and auto-tune, and the same pro-tools stuff im guilty of contributing too. This album is truely packed with inspiration creatively or emotionally for release purposes!! Pick it up!
