Do you know this Best Friend? Many of us have this Best Friend and dont even realize its our Best Friend. It nags us like a best friend, cock blocks like a Best Friend, is pestimistic like a Best Friend when you feel you dont need it to be. Always knows whats best for us like a Best Friend. when we ignore it, it tells us I TOLD YOU SOO like a best friend. It never leaves us like a best friend, even when we turn our back on it.
Even i have turned my back on it, its never wrong. But i seem to think i can outsmart it and prove it wrong. I push it away alot of times, hoping that it wont come back, because i dont want to hear it. IF i tell somebody else about it, they will dismiss it and tell me i have nothing to worry bout. Dont listen to that Best Friend, listen to them. When my Best Friend is telling me they are the problem. Yea i know it sucks to choose between your bestfriend and a new friend, or some girl or guy. But we seem to always take this Best Friend for granted, since they have always been there.
So i was thinking the other day, when has this best friend ever failed me? I keep apologizing to it, but never change in my actions. Everytime feeling more humiliated than i did before. So im working on appreciating this Best Friend, and embracing this Best Friend, and most important listening to this Best Friend. Because when i don't it always reminds me that it TOLD ME SO.
